Tupac was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting 1996, and as he was dying on the hospital bed, his girlfriend slipped on a cassette of his favourite song to ensure it wad the last thing he ever heard. It was “Vincent” by Don McLean from his1970 American Pie album.
