Eighties teen heart-throb Kirk Cameron who was most famous as Mike Seaver on the ABC sit-com Growing Pains would, in 1991 aged 20, and a virgin, marry Chelsea Noble who portrayed Mike’s girlfriend Kate MacDonald in seasons 5-7 of the show (1989-1991).
Kirk Cameron also starred in a follow up sit-com titled Kirk where he portrays an older brother who is left to bring up his younger siblings, with Chelsea playing the role of his girlfriend Elizabeth Waters.
They also played a married couple in both the Growing Pains re-union movies; although by this point it might be more surprising to learn there was a reunion movie. And a sequel reunion movie.
But wait, there’s more… Chelsea Noble has apparently appeared in numerous other films where Kirk Cameron has had roles as an uncredited “kissing double”, Cameron refusing to kiss anyone else but Noble been when the script called for it.
